Reflection and introspection -- not the programming kind

Just a short post today... nothing much to say but a lot to think about.Go figure.Programming is simple. It's all logic and you can figure everything out. You can write proofs about most things (P == NP anyone?). I wish more things were like that. That you could just derive a proof and go do it. Computers are (for the most part) deterministic systems. Real life, less so.Really reminds me of an old XKCD comic.Maybe if I ponder enough I can work things out. It worked for Andrew Wiles. All you can do is embrace the randomness and harness it. Nature has found a way. Don't swim upstream... but maybe try to make the stream flow the way you want.
