Just a quick rant tonight: Did you ever notice that appetizers in restaurants typically come in prime-numbers quantities. Today we went to Brewsters Cafe down in Twinsburg (kinda so-so) and ordered some Hungarian Hot Stuffed Peppers (color theirs).

When they came out there were three on the plate. (BTW: they weren’t hot at all)

The problem is that unless you are eating alone or with two friends there’s no really good way of dividing it amongst you.

Ditto with the five and seven portions.

Look at the demographics of dining groups. Typically couples or pairs of couples. So two or four people. If you serve up four or eight then you’ll always have even divisions.

There. Go forth restauranteurs, make non-prime number appetizers.

Also, coming up next week: “Heresy Week!”
