Had some friends over tonight. It made us clean the house. Good steak. Good food in general.


I’m out of profound things to say at the moment.

The steak, on the other hand, was quite profound. I offered to start up the oven to cook it slow instead of on the grill through and through.


But the strip steaks — an inch thick — came out perfect. Medium rare. Nice crust.
