Cool way of mounting Christmas lights: Binder Clips!

The front of my house has a decorative fascia board above the front porch. It's around 1/2" thick so many of the light mounting kits don't work with it. Compounding that is me not wanting to put holes in the board I had a problem: how to mount the string of lights onto it?Salvation came from Office Max of all places: Binder clips! The BIG binder clips. Of course they generally come in any color you want as long as you want black. It's nothing that a coat of white spray paint doesn't solve however.Mounting the lights up front is now a five minute exercise. Cool! When I'm done all I need to do is flip the handles up and they mostly disappear into the whiteness.Admittedly, I guess they're due for another coat of paint. Eight or nine winters takes its toll after all.[smugmug url="http://photos.vec.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=15046104_pSK6b&format=rss200" imagecount="100" start="1" num="100" thumbsize="Th" link="lightbox" captions="false" sort="false" window="true" smugmug="true" size="L"]
