Good morning everyone out there in Vec Blog Land! Ennie here, following through with my promise to George to blog throughout today while he gets much needed repairs to his femoral neck. After trying out a few spots, I settled in on a moderately comfy chair across from the check-in desk, in full view of the door to the surgery area:
Of course I’m next to a power socket, and most importantly, in clear view of the patient status monitors.
Each patient is assigned a number, George is 98666, and their number is listed on the board throughout their stay, color coded based on what stage they are in at the moment.
As of 11:00 a.m., George is in Pre-op:
They’re calling my name! Guess I get to go check in on him :-)
