X-Day... missing the old crew

The X-Day festivities are kicking off in southern Ohio just about now. The aliens will pick up the true believers this year, I'm sure of it.But we're not there for the first time in around 10 years, maybe more.Last year we made it out with me and a broken leg that I was only barely able to walk around on.This year... well, let's just say we're a bit far and not yet adjusted and settled in.At least someone is picking up the mantle of the pancakes.  :-)  The first memorial Pancakes for Bob will be around.I do have to say it's a mixed bag though. As much as I like the camping and the people yeti we hang around with, southern Ohio is in the middle of a patch of really rough weather. I'm not sure I want to be camping at this moment. As I'm writing this it's around 60° here in Seattle with patches of drizzle. In Ohio it's 71° with 84% humidity. Tomorrow will be 69° here, Ohio: 93° and quite a bit humid.Oy.But I do miss everyone.  :-/
