An interesting email came over the Amazon shooters mailing list asking if anyone on the list had shot some of the more odd-ball pistols.

Boberg XR9

Kel-Tec KSG

Kel-Tec RFB

Chiappa Rhino

Taurus Circuit Judge (terrible name, but I have a thing for revolving-chamber rifles and this is about the only thing on the market on the moment)

Calico Liberty 100 Tactical (100 round mags in 9mm?  Yes, please!)

I looked at the first thing on the list… The good ol’ Boberg!  :-D

It’s been a while since I took it out to shoot it and the fact that it’s “rare” or “odd” wore off on me. To me it’s just a cool little gun now and not strange at all.

I just checked the forums and they’re up to around 550 on the serials. I have a measurable percentage of the total production of that gun! Ok, it’s a small percentage, but it’s more than 0.3% of all of them in my basement!

I have somewhere around 0.000% of the GLOCKs made for instance.  :-P

Honestly, the only other gun on that list that I would be interested in is the Kel-Tek RFB. That’s a purty little piece.  :-)
