Ham radio, Electronics, Etc.

I guess one of the things that's starting to make sense to me is the intersection between electronics and ham radio is becoming clearer. Of course it's obvious that ham radio is electronic, but it's more than that. It has a lot of measurements that can be done too.Things like an oscilloscope or a spectrum analyzer... Of course I'm not going to get a several GHz scope. I can't justify that... but perhaps something that can look at 2M. Oooh.See, I can hook of a spectrum analyzer with a tracking generator to a directional coupler and hook the whole mess up to an antenna and then measure all of the SWR of the rig. Maybe even up to 3GHz. Drool.I think I'll get a room now.
