Today was an absolutely beautiful day in Seattle so Ennie and I decided to go to the mountain and take a hike.

Looking through our Day Hiking: Mount Rainier National Park Trails book we picked out an relatively easy hike to work around my presently aching ankle. Why does my ankle hurt? That’s a topic for another post.

It is nothing short of stunning.

The water has a similar tinge as what we saw up at Lake Louise — the blue and slightly milky color of glacier run-off.

Ennie was kind enough to take a few pictures of me as well to prove I was there.  :-)

Just go an browse the pictures! They are pretty!
