Motorcycle service done (mostly)

Today, in the midst of me spilling several quarts of used motor oil I managed to get the rest of the service on the bike done.A couple weekends ago I changed out the brake fluid for new DOT-4. Yesterday I did the valves. Today was engine oil (which spilled due to a wrong set-up of the oil tray), transmission oil, final drive oil and lubing the spines of the rear-drive.All done!At this point I have two things left to do, both of which involve a laptop (!):

  1. Balance the throttle bodies which involves parking the idle stepper motors with the GS-911 attached to the laptop and hooking it up to a vacuum comparator.
  2. Reset the service indicator.

All the hard work at this point is done. Of course I had to pick one of the hottest days of the year to actually do all this stuff. <eyeroll/>At least it's done and I can go back to enjoying my bike -- which I've partially not been because I needed to get the service done...
