Gay

Ennie and I had an interesting conversation last night in the hotel room winding down from a day of festivities with the family. It started with a news story about a Methodist minister officiating his son's marriage. His son married another man. This minister is getting (well, at least attempting to get kicked out) for performing this marriage. We started talking. What would happen if my niece or nephew were gay? I love those kids. How can I not love these guys? Now, lets apply a bit of inductive logic to this. How can I hate someone else's niece or nephew? Or son or daughter? How can I hate someone for why they intrinsically are? When you think of the person in front of you as being hated, how can you possibly stand for that?!
