Zoe - a second opinion

Ennie called up our old vet in Cleveland. Dr. Pencis over at Woodland Veterinary. We had to get a second opinion about what our course of action should be.I have to say it is nice to hear someone start talking sense.To have someone confirm that what we're thinking is really the right way of doing things is valuable. And this isn't just paying someone to tell you what you want to hear. This is talking to someone who you trust and saying that you're doing the right thing.The vet we went to here is young. Too young to have shaken off her training and excitement about new tools and techniques. Too young to really bring on the compassion.Doctor Pencis talked to us. She didn't have to. Hell, we're a few thousand miles away.She did. She listened.That's compassion.
