Tomorrow is election day. Vote!
I have some opinions on some of the Washington issues (Vote NO on WA-594, please!).
That being said this is our opportunity as a nation, as our states, and as our communities to make a difference in how things work. That difference can be small, but many elections in recent memory have been decided with just a few votes separating the sides.
While me voting one way or another on the Seattle district of the Washington senate race isn’t going to make much of a difference (pro-tip: the democrat will win and even the republican is kind of liberal), there’s enough at stake that it’s worth voting.
If you don’t, you shouldn’t get a chance to complain about the outcome. Not voting is a decision unto itself — a non-vote.
