You probably gathered that Ennie and I were off in Victoria for the past couple of days.

All in all we had a good time. We realized how much time we really, really, needed to get some sleep. Most nights we wound up crashing by 9 or 10 at night.

The first night was by far the biggest crash. Granted we were up at 5 in the morning to catch the Clipper to Victoria, but we didn’t do anything that day except sit on the boat, walk to the hotel room, buy the charger for my computer, get lunch, walk a tiny bit, then crash — hard. We took a two or three hour nap just then. We couldn’t go on.

Then we walked a bit through the oldest China Town in Canada… the rain started spitting horizontally, then we ate dinner.

Then we crashed again.

I guess that’s our bodies telling us that we really did need some time to rest.

I’ll leave you with one of the shots I took:

More pics to come.  :-)
