Hot air rework (Low tech)

I soldered a chip onto a proto board. Upside down. (Ok, not upside down literally, back-to-front more like it)In the end it doesn't matter much. Everything is connected anyway. But I don't like "wrong."I was going to run out to Fry's to pick up a hot air rework station... but instead I ordered one from Amazon... I subbed in a hot air gun that I had under my bench to give that a shot.It loosened up the solder like no one's business. Chip was off the board and it was good to go to solder on the right way around.I'll still get the rework station. But hot damn, literally, the lowest tech thing won the show I suppose!  :-)
