World War II -- What if?

Ennie and I have been a PBS series called "Nazi Mega Weapons."The thing that I keep thinking about is that Nazi Germany would very well have won the war if much of the leadership wasn't just plain psychotic.Hitler started off as a fairly good leader. (Note: he was still fucked up, but a good leader) As the war wore on he just got crazy. Towards the end, he was having tea parties while his men died at the Russian front.Even things like D-Day could very well have gone badly for the Allies if the front-line generals weren't terrified of the micro-management that they were getting from the top.And don't get me started about Himmler and the religion that he tried to start.It makes you wonder what would have happened if the rule from the above wasn't as messed up as it was. What would have happened if they didn't got madder than when they started.It's a scary thought.
