Photos – Week 3 – Red

Red.It was a dreary week mostly in Seattle this week. Every day except Thursday was rainy. Thursday was a marvelous day... so I head indoors to the Pike Place Market of course.Across the hallway and a few stalls down from the fish throwing folks some of the first tulips of the season were being put out.And so it goes. Wide open 50 f/1.4. In hindsight closing a half a stop and shoving the focus plane back a cm would be good. But we're left with the negatives, er raw files that you have. The background was messy as was the counter. So the end result I wanted to lead the viewer through the layers of blur from the front crisp red and leading back to the vendor blurred out to nothing.
