Is it plugged in? Really?

My co-worker was issued a new desktop computer for dev work. This in and of itself isn't news.Plugging things in and turning it on led to something that looked like this:It was supposed to net-boot onto an Ubuntu installer. But obviously it booted to FreeDOS.(And, as an added bonus I was the only one to remember how to use it...)Then this other plug confused people...The top one.I continued to feel old being the only one on the team to use a serial port. Oy. But that's a tale for another day.The computer wasn't working... until I went into BIOS and noticed that the ethernet was disconnected. Plugging into another known working connection got me this:This is after two hours of trying to get something to boot by the rest of the team.Is it really plugged in?
