My bike it coming up to 24,000 miles. I ordered some motor oil, as one does. (Ok, you can argue about choice of oil if you want… but I happen to like Red Line. Sure it’s more expensive than Mobil 1 15w50 by a scosh, but, whatever…)
That’s not the point though.
I ordered five quarts of oil. I need four, but I typically order an extra in case I need to top off or something. Eventually I’ll have enough spare containers that I won’t need to order oil at all for a cycle.
But that’s not the point either.
The point is that Amazon decided to ship the five bottles of oil in four different shipments.
Eh?
Not just that but I picked the “meh, ship it whenever” mode of transport — the one where they threw in a $5.99 credit to Amazon Fresh to boot.
I know Amazon (“we” since I work there I suppose) has different warehouses… but this is bordering on ridiculous!
