Fraley v. Facebook is a case that’s been going on for a long while now. There was some online form I’m sure I filled out back in 2013.
Facebook, apparently, used my likeness to push products. They got sued. They settled the case, and a bunch of people are finally getting their $15 checks to pay back what we lost.
The terms of the settlement are that Facebook will send, no later than November 17th of this year, $15 to everyone in the class. Of course, they waited until the last possible moment to do so. (Honestly, I don’t blame them…)
If you get a check, it’s real. Even if you don’t remember signing up for it, you did. But you did over 3-1/2 years ago and likely forgot.
Finally, you can make money with Facebook!
