My friend Lita picked up an assortment of IKEA frames for me the last time she went to our (new!) IKEA. The big one was original frame had an awkward 15-3/4 x 19-1/4″ mat cut out. I tried to reformat the picture to that size but was unhappy with the end result. It just didn’t like to be cropped.
So I had to pull put my old Logan mat cutter. I couldn’t watch the instructions since they were VHS, but thankfully the printed instructions were there too.
I remembered how easy it is to cut mats. Though I’m thinking of upgrading to the big brother of the one I have now to be able to cross cut the boards better than my rotary cutter can.
Now all that’s left is to put some holes in the wall!
