I made some "cameras!"

I now have a pair of home-built "cameras!" They are about as basic as the term can possibly be taken. I have a "Leica" and a "Micro-4/3" cameras.

Ok, so they are nothing more than a lens mount that I 3D printed and a piece of tracing paper at the appropriate flange distance.

The purpose of this exercise is to illustrate the difference in image circles between different formats. I think I might make one for a Minolta MD mount as well so I can mix things up in terms of radically different flange distance. The cool thing is I have a 50mm (or equivalent) for all of these formats so it'll let me demonstrate how this all works.

Yes, this is all for a video.  :-)

I'll make all of the "cameras" available to download from Thingiverse when I'm done with them.
