Relativity of time

I was looking through some of the pictures I've been posting on the blog here in the "Photography" category. I'm looking and I'm seeing pictures from the past and it's like looking at someone else's work. Someone who's better than me.It's obviously me since I remember taking the pictures.I think so much is related to how we're wired. We generally remember the good times more than the hardships; it's even encoded in the language: "the good old days." I think the same effect happens when we look at the stuff we did in the past sometimes as well. Looking back at the snapshots, literally in my case, I tend to see not only the picture in a better light, but also the situation that led to the picture.
