Relativity of time

No, I'm not talking about the Einstein-style relativity you get in physics. It's the notion of how one perceives time as they proceed through its thoughtless embrace. If you were to look at time from the physics realm, you'd get time dilation from the curvature of space-time. Thankfully, we don't experience that since we're not going at a sizable fraction of the speed of light. But the idea of how we perceive time is still locked up in our brains.Quoting Einstein:

Professor Einstein’s secretary was so burdened with inquiries as to the meaning of “relativity” that the professor decided to help her out. He told her to answer these inquiries as follows: “When you sit with a nice girl for two hours you think it’s only a minute, but when you sit on a hot stove for a minute you think it’s two hours. That’s relativity.”

Ok, so potentially not him, but reports accede that something very much like that we said.Humans are notoriously bad at measuring time when we're measuring it in our heads. A year can feel like a week, or a week can feel like a year.Sometimes, the latter is just what you need.
