Historic Buildings of Seattle

I present this turd:This is now preserved as a historic building. What? This is a low building overlooking Lake Union that is 98 years old (as I write this). This is a block that holds no architectural significance, cultural value, or really much of anything at all.Except it's not preserved. If you're protecting this turd, you really have to wonder what we aren't going to protect. This is raising NIMBY-ism to an even higher level. This unelected board can decide to randomly preserve anything. And then we all wonder why housing prices are so high?Oh, Seattle... at a time when housing in general is in such high demand, why are you protecting something like this?Really?(Yes, I drive by this building every day. It's just an eyesore in my opinion.)
