Failing and trying again...

I was thinking about the way I add a camera on to my helmet when I'm on the bike. I have a mount on my helmet on the side of it. I like to have the camera in the same position every time -- pointed in the same direction I'm facing both left and right and up and down.The problem is when I attach it, the normal connectors have an infinite number of different ways to attach things that aren't the way it should be.That got me thinking.Wouldn't it be awesome to make a custom mount that worked perfect for me? I have a 3D printer, so why not?Well, the first attempt was a bit tight.So tight that it just didn't actually work. It simply broken (and, honestly, interfered with itself)But you make something, try it out, and see where you mess up. Then you try again having learned something.
