BBS - modern

A long, long while back I ran a BBS called Ground Zero out of my bedroom. Of course, I was active in the local BBS scene as well. The thing with the BBS scene back in the late '80s is that there were only a handful of people who had computers and modems at the time. You got to know people by their screen names. I was "Vector."As I was chatting on the local subreddit for Seattle (/r/SeattleWA) and talking to a friend I realized that this has the same feel for me. Yeah, as I write this there are over 55,000 subscribers to that group... but there are only a handful of people that I see engaging all the time. You start to know people, without knowing a damn thing about them.
