Just a peek

One of the things I love about the Leica and the manual focus rangefinder is being able to get shots that would be a lot harder with an autofocus camera. Like just a sliver of what you want to be in focus. Sure, you can manually focus most lenses even on autofocus cameras, but the issue you run into is that the focusing screens (if they can even be called that any more) are optimized more for brightness than accurately reflecting what the exposed image would appear. (Typically you see the image like it would be at something like f/4 or something, even if you're shooting wide open at f/2 like I am there)Taken over the weekend at Quinn's in Capitol Hill.Leica M10 + Summicron 90mm ASPH @ f/2, 1/250s, ISO 800.
