I’ve worked in insurance for around 15 years between Progressive and ComparisonMarket/Insurance.com.

Today I’m really in need of it I suppose.

Yesterday I was in the ER with a jibbered up right wrist. It’s not broken, from all accounts, but it seems like something is out of place.

And of course, doctors want to get paid.

So, who pays?

In order:

  • Pemco – the insurance company that covers the lady who caused the accident (up to the bodily injury limits of the policy [$25,000 minimum per Washington law])
  • Progressive – The MedPay (like PIP) will cover another four grand.
  • Health insurance through Amazon – Covers the rest

I’m sure the lawyers will have a field day.
