A Shot in the Dark

On Monday the viaduct will be made redundant with the opening of the newly commissioned, and much belated, tunnel.

Seattle was given the opportunity to walk the new tunnel and the viaduct that is being replaced today. Originally there were tickets that were being "sold" for free, but the implementation was "just come on in."

This one shot captured the moment for me. This is the old Battery Street tunnel. Specifically the south-bound side of it, looking north.
