Earlier this week I was reading an article about how Stanford University was wanting to build additional on-campus housing.

Taking a step back, Stanford owns more than 8000 acres in the Bay Area. They’ve been there since the dawn of time as far as the area is concerned so they managed to get land back when California was a nothing.

But people dost protest. They are demanding that Stanford build additional subsidized housing as well for low-income folks.

No problem… but they self-same people protest about the cost of higher education.

Where do people think the money comes from to build subsidized housing? Who, exactly, is subsidizing it?

The students.

The students who are protesting both the cost of higher education as well as advocating for low-income housing.

Pick one please.

The money for neither grows on trees.
