Kicking off the Technical Fundamentals of Photography

Above is my first draft of the general syllabus for the long series of videos on the topic.

Why? Because I love to teach and I think there is a lot of misinformation out there on the web and in general.

What is this going to be? It's not going to be talking about the art of photography, but rather the foundations on which photography is built. People have been taking pictures long before we had a good understanding of the technical underpinnings of the subject -- and many of those pictures are iconic. You can take good shots without know the technical aspects, but knowing the technical aspects can help you get better pictures.

Why me? Because I love both photography and teaching. I geek out on this stuff all the time. It's something that's been with me since basically as long as I can remember.

Where? Right here in my office and around my city.
