TFoP:1 - Introduction

I'm kicking off the new series on the Technical Fundamentals of Photography (TFoP) today. Join me for a long adventure about the underlying science, physics, and technology of the art and science of the thing we all love: photography.

This isn't about how to make artsy shots -- but knowing how stuff works as you're taking a picture might very well make you a better photographer.

But I think it's cool regardless. There are a lot of misconceptions about how all this stuff works and I'm about to endeavor to get rid of those and show you some pretty cool shit along the way!
