A bit over 30 years late

Over the weekend I was visiting Jackie in Seattle for a few days. It seems that most of the time there we lacked internet... stupid WAVE internet.

We couldn't watch anything streaming so we were basically kind of bored. I mean there was stuff to do in the city, but just chilling was a bit slower than normal.

On Monday, Labor Day, I remembered that I had a movie on my laptop that neither of us had watched. We had power, so the TV worked if you could supply a signal.

My Neighbor Totoro.

Such a magical movie. It was just what the doctor ordered.

It just struck me the love that all of the characters were drawn with. It was just such a perfect thing for the perfect time.
