If you give value to what others think of you, then it follows that you worry about making them think bad of you.
If you worry about what others think of you then you’ll worry about everyone.
Now, you also have to keep in mind that people will often disagree about what “right” is.
If you’re worried about everyone, you’ll constantly be in a position where you can’t make everyone happy — because often they don’t even agree.
If you’re worried about everyone, you’ll be worried about everything.
If you’re worried about everything, you’ll be paralyzed because everything will always be wrong.
Then, because you’re paralyzed, you’ll fail at everything.
It’s a self-fulfilling outlook on life.
