More fuckery from The Stranger

A few days ago I wrote about the crash that happened on Aurora Avenue North where two people were killed by a unhinged meth-head crashing her car.

Now The Strange published this stinking turd:

Mr. Mudede goes on to write:

And she, and the pedestrians killed and injured by the car she allegedly drove, have no one to blame for this terrible state of things but their own culture.

Skipping back a bit more than a year... after my friend was murdered in cold blood by her roommate last year with dozens of stab wounds, this was the Stranger's hot take not a month or so later:

A 25-year-old man was arrested for the murder of38-year-old Lita Byrnes, his Wallingford roommate, who had apparentlyasked him to move out. We know housing is tough here, but Jesus Christ,buddy! Allegedly murdering your roommate will not solve the housingcrisis. Reprogramming Jeff Bezos, however, might.

Her roommate stopped paying rent and she was telling him to leave. Seems reasonable.

Lita was my ex and she was a wonderful and loving person who deserved the world. She would never hurt anyone and to this day is probably one of the kindest and caring people I have ever met in my life. I still think of her every day. We weren't together at the time it happened, but her being ripped from this world shook me. The Stranger trivializing this into a slap at Amazon is inexcusable.

The Stranger using this meth-head's actions as a referendum on cars is equally inexcusable. It's not because the city has defacto legalized drugs that caused the lady to go insane, close her eyes, and kill people. No. It's because cars.

If the Stranger and everyone associated with them were to suddenly die in a fire, I wouldn't shed a single tear and the world would be a better place. (Please note: not calling for anyone to actually set them on fire...)

This is unconscionable and unacceptable.
