I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Summers there were hot and humid. And I hated them.
Fast forward a couple of decades to the present and I’m sitting on my porch in an 80-degree night (with relatively low humidity) and I’m just totally comfortable with my situation in life.
It’s amazing how you can adapt if you allow yourself to do so.
And now, even when the thermometer tops three digits I can still go out without bitching too much. You resign yourself to get sweaty, but I’m OK with it.
It’s just so strange.
