Praising bad news

So I've been posting to the local subreddit graphs of each of Tennessee's counties...

For some reason I always get downvoted. It just seems that people like bad news more than they like good news.

It's such a weird problem. God forbid that we're coming out the other end of this because somehow good news has turned the corner to become bad again.

I seriously don't get people.
