Garmin 305 Battery Swap

This was easier than I first thought it would be!All I had to do was separate the top and bottom half of the device with my fingernails then change batteries. I did have to clip a couple of the posts that held the original battery since the new one was bigger (and higher capacity). No worries though! In the end it turned on just fine! Woot!I just followed the directions on this site and it was all good!Right now I'm doing a run-down test to check its life... I'll update this post when it's done.[smugmug url="http://photos.vec.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=16947024_3nsR74&format=rss200" imagecount="100" start="1" num="100" thumbsize="Th" link="lightbox" captions="false" sort="true" window="true" smugmug="true" size="L"]
