Paranoia? Hoarding? Preparedness?

Last April I felt a bit of paranoia when I picked up way more reloading supplies than I really needed at the time.Who needs 60,000 primers anyway? (This in addition to a previous cache) I justified it with a "well the election is coming up, prices are good and they are in stock."I stuck them in a safe place. Then I moved across the country with them and a bunch of other reloading components like bullets, cases and powder. It then moved to hoarding I suppose. All through the summer my reloading kit sat in boxes, then in the basement. Idle. Hoarding is when you have something to have that you don't use. Then in December there were events that caused a run on all these things and more.It moved from hoarding and paranoia to me feeling a bit smarter than the average bear. I'm now "prepared" for this. It's odd how exactly the same act comes off in different ways through simply the passage of time.

Now, I figure when the prices and inventory allow, I think I'll up my collection a bit more. Maybe lay in a 20-year supply of components and call it a day. If nothing else I have good stuff to trade later.  :-)
