Slide Rule Snafu

A while back I mentioned that I ordered a slide rule.It was shipping from Germany.Pretty slide rule too -- a Faber Castell 2/83N.Pretty. The Cadillac of slide rules from the late 60's.Awesome.What I got was this:Can you notice the difference?I'll give you a hint: look down.Ahh, yes -- the cursor is from the wrong model.:-/Actually, if you look closer you can see the screws are in different places -- the item pictured isn't the one I received.Now I have to see how eBay and the seller handle this predicament. I know I don't want to pay for shipping back to Germany on for this one.Meh.Otherwise it's a pretty slide-rule... except for that bit of a snafu that lowers the value of this old time tool dramatically.

Update: Just got an email from the German bloke and he's mailing out another and will refund the money to get the other one back. Happy endings are nice!
