Digging Ditches

This week I was on call. We have a seven person team and every seven weeks we each get to be on call from Monday at noon to the next Monday at noon.Most times it's pretty sedate and you get to work on your work for most of the time. This week was hectic for me. Between random tickets coming my way and fallout from the newly announced Kindles I was busy. Moving from one ticket to the next I was spending my days working on everything but what I was really supposed to be doing.I'm not complaining.Sometimes a ditch needs to be dug and you're the guy with a shovel. It's not good or bad... it just is. It's frustrating if you make it that.Just treat it as work -- it's better that way.  :-)
