Sometimes two wrongs make a right

(oops, forgot to hit publish... this was from Thursday.)

The weather this week was supposed to be bad. Like, really, bad.

Tripple digits was on the forecast. Portland got that today.

Like I wrote earlier, most people in Seattle lack air conditioning, so having it be that hot is somewhat of a problem for a large majority of the population.

Of course, Canada has lit itself on fire again. The picture was from my lunchtime walk yesterday -- not retouched to make it look smokier. It's actually that smokey.

The smoke blocked some of the sun, making it 7-8º cooler than otherwise!

It doesn't sound like a lot, but it really is.
