K1 Speed

We had a team outing to K1 Speed over on the east side. If not for how the rest of my team was driving (and causing random pileups) I think I had a pretty consistent run. And my lap time was around 0.2s better than the first run I had.

Taking a step back, K1 is indoor electric go carting. You have a short track and you lap it in less than 20 seconds (if you're like me... ;-) )

Racing is something that I've always liked to do. Even after only two races you really have to admit that motorsports is a physical activity. Even though the car is doing much of the work, the driver gets pretty beat up as well.
