I was hired on to Comparison Market on February 12th, 2001. It is now October 17th, 2011.Over time it's gone through different iterations. Different names. Different technologies. Different business models.I've given almost 10-1/2 years to the project in all its various forms. I've learned a lot. More importantly I've made many friends -- the type of friend you can trust with your life.I don't want to see the work that my friends and I did to get things where they are -- and can be -- go down the tubes. You can say that it's irrational. It probably is.There are plenty of decisions that can be made to ensure its failure. Some in my hands. Some in other people's hands.I refuse to be that guy who pulls the trigger.
