Today I was filling out a form. More on that tomorrow.It asked: "Race."That is an interesting question. I looked up from the counter puzzled."White? Caucasian?""'W' works for me."

What is race?I almost said "Caucasoid" in the mix as well.What if I was black? Would it be "black" or "negroid?"What's left? Mongoloid?

The notion of race is an odd an interesting thing. Is it the color of your skin. Is it where your parents come from?More importantly, why does it matter on a government form? Even the UN dropped the concept of race years ago in 1950.Sheesh.
