Anything can be a race

Yesterday I gave blood to the Puget Sound Blood Center in their mobile bloodbus outside my building.Another Amazonian was ahead of me in line. She was poked perhaps four or five minutes before me. It was my mission to finish first.Squeeze the ball. Consciously relax my arm so as not to have tension keep the blood out.Yeah... 6:17 to give not just the pint of blood, but from poke to needle removal. Keep in mind this has the time to fill the vials immediately after getting stuck to waiting for the tech to remove the needle.:-P
