Seahawks - One game away!

I was totally going to post about the Vampire Weekend concert or the Amazon post-holiday party today... but that has to wait. One needs to have his priorities in order.

We are one game away from the championship!

Does it affect me in any real way? No, not really. Does it have to? No. It makes me happy in an existential way. And is that wrong? I don't think so.And against us in the Super Bowl is the Denver Broncos. Even if Seattle wasn't playing them I'd root against them since they got in the way of the Cleveland Browns in both '87 with The Drive and in '88 with The Fumble. I don't think I could ever forgive Denver for that! ;-)If you want to prompt a real existential crisis force me to move to Denver! Or have the Browns line up against the Seahawks in the Super Bowl!The funny thing is I'm not that big of a football fan in general. I'm sure I can get all sorts of shit for being a hair weather fan and all that. But the long and short of it is that I don't care. I'm excited!  :-DSo... yeah... I'm happy in a weird blissed out kind of way I'm not really used to.
