Time

Ennie and I are planning a vacation -- the first that we've really been on since we had the trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway back in 2010. That's a freakishly long time to get some real time off.I'm sitting here at the end of January thinking that the summer is only a few months away now. The fact that it's starting to sneak up on us is kind of stressing me out. There's so much I want to get done between now and then... and there's so comparatively little time to get it all done.So, on the topic of vacations, what we're looking to do is more-or-less a reprise of our Alaska trip back from 2008. We're not thinking of really getting to the Arctic Ocean like we were last time -- but that's ok. We're looking at two weeks time to cover half the distance.Time.Such a precious resource.Instead of rushing and pushing ourselves we want to spend it at a bit more leisurely pace and enjoy it more.Time.We're looking forward to it...But there's still so much to do.<sigh/>
