Forty-six

Another year, another birthday.

Seven years ago I was doing 39 years old as my first birthday in Seattle. This year I'm doing my first here in Nashville.

It has certainly been a change, but it's something that I feel has been overdue. Seattle and I were simply not a compatible match. Nashville, on the other hand -- especially here in the country -- seems to suit my nature far more.

Maybe you can call it a mid-life crisis or something, but at the same time, it's something that's far deeper. I'm not suited for a city; I need space. And finally here, I have some.
